I've met with an 85-year old mechanic last saturday who used to work for Ph ilibert de Vlaeminck (that is the dad of Eric and Roger) and he told me tha t they used to travel to Italia a few times a year in search for equipment. He named this Masseroni/Mascheroni person as being their master framebuild er. I stated Masseroni because of difficulties in understanding him. Isn't Umberto Mascheroni the one who was directeur sportif with Legnano? Could th ey be the same person.
