Ted, did you get a cool alloy rail one or just a normal Brooks lookalike? They made 2 alloy rails- The Ormond, that utulizes a single piece of flat aluminum, that wraps around, looking like a hoop. then there is the North Road, that is similar to the Ormaan in construction, except the sides are laced together underneth. so from the side it looks like a Brooks Swallow with alloy rails.
