Hi C-R List members,

If you are in Japan, or visting Japan, the south of OSAKA area, city name SAKAI, where the firrst GUNSMITH was establised in 16 thecentury. Perhaps, its tradition, famous Shimano and Suntour (Maeda), and others have been making bicycle parts.

During Japanese Bubble Economy (late 1980's), they (mainly Shimano?) spent a lots of money to buy bicycles from all over the world, 1750's to 1990's, historical, utility, and sport (racing as Keirin) bikes.

Best Regards,

KEN TODA, High Point, NC, A Japanese transplant rider, now only good for down hill.
