Mark and all,

I haven't followed this thread from the beginning, but from what I

read of this post I gather the question is does a Cinelli Laser hace

bondo on it. I have restored one of these, and they are LOADED with

bondo. The Cinelli Laser is by far the biggest pain in the ass I've

ever worked on. You couldn't pay me enough to work on another one. OK,

someone probably could pay for it, but convincing me to do it would

take an act of Congress or more (since I don't have much faith in the

caliber of our government for the past 50 years or so).

Also, the Laser is by far the heaviest frame I've ever worked on

(except for my balloon tyre J.C. Higgins), because in addition to lost

of bondo there is even more brass around the joints. They might as

well have cast the frame out of pigiron. In my opinion the stupidist

frame ever made.

Brian Baylis La Mesa, CA Sorry Chuck, but with all due respect, bondo rules supreme on Cinelli

Lasers.

Geez Chuck, give it a rest... He already SAID he used the BONDO MAGNET on it, and it didn't stick, so what more proof do you want??!? (gotta get me one o' those...)
