Greetings from Portland (where it is finally sunny & warm!)-

I have a gold-anno 'Super LJ' shift lever set, clamp-on style, that I would like to swap for the same thing in a bz-on style. My set is used, in VGC. I also need one MAFAC centerpull cable anchor, in gold also.

Parts for sale (prices include shipping in CONUS): 1) ALAN road fame, 56x56, red anodized, in good condition, 'Guerciotti' decals & panto'ed, w/ Campy 'Victory' headset, $200 2)Campy NR hubset-NIB, 32-hole,Italian thread,126mm, $155 3)ALAN cyclocross framset, NOS, 56x56, silver, Italian thread, 126mm spacing. Includes Gipiemme SR-type headset, $600 4)T.A. 'Cyclotouriste' outer ring, NOS, 52t, $38 5)Phil Wood rear hub (hi-lo), 36-hole, 135mm, 36-hole, excellent condition, smooth, $70 6)1955 Campy tubular wheelset- Fiamme red label rims, Robergel DB spokes, 36/36, Hi-Flange 3-piece hubs. Includes 'Cyclo' 5-speed freewheel. Hubs are in VGC cosmetically, and spin smoothly, but need an overhaul. QR skewers are a little rough; one is 'open c', the other is not. Rims are straight, stickers mostly gone..the wheels would be rideable right now, except for flat front tire. $285

I have pics of everything right now, except the Phil hub, and the ALAN road frame. I can get pics of those if you need them. I also have a c.1959-60 Carlton frame that is too big for me, at 62cm (59cm top tube). I would be interested in swapping it for a similar British bike, in like condition, 58-or 59cm. It is all 531, good chrome, oxidized (but still beautiful) paint, and has dropouts and bz-ons for Cyclo 'Benelux' derailleurs. Dark green w/ gold panels & headtube. Pics also avilable.

Finally....after enduring endless tirades about Q-factor, alloy vs. steel cranks, and bondo, I respectfully request/suggest that when list members have an on-going disagreement about things of that nature, that the members involved settle their differences off-list, rather than on the Forum. I am all for exchange of info & ideas, but these things too often take on a kind of petty, sarcastic turn, that gets tedious really quickly....:)
