Subject: [CR]Second tier bicycles worth mentioning

As we talk mostly about 1st tier bicycles, i.e. Hetchins, Masi, Colnago, Sachs I thought it would be interesting to hear about CR members personnel experience with second tier bicycles worth mentioning. My personnel experience was with the 1949 Rude Pathfinder that I purchased from Mike Walden bicycle shop in Detroit, Michigan. It equipped with a flip flop rear hub and dropped handle bars. Came with a nice selection of second tier components that functioned fine. It was red and white and I rode it with Mike Walden wolverine Bicycle club on Summer Wednesday nights and Sundays. Many riders on fixed gear bicycles. A great bike for the Detroit streets. Charles Nighbor Walnut Creek, CA
