Rich Gangl is a local (at least) legend in Colorado. In the late '80s when I was looking for a frames expert to check out my newly-bought Masi GC, he was recommended as a highly meticulous worker, but hard to reach since he was often off racing. That proved to be the case, I had my frame aligned elsewhere.

A builder highly respected and rather more accessible, Doug Fattic, speaks highly of Rich and his work. Asphalt Magazine showcased one of Rich's bikes a few years back.

Just looking through the Listing pictures, I wish it was just a few cm smaller!

I'm not familiar with this builder but a friend at the local bike shop believes he began building in the late 1970s and has always put out nice work. He vaguely recalled actually racing against him too, some years back.

Item number: 330119413241

The bike on eBay looks like late 1970s with full Campy, so that would make this perhaps one of his earlier builds. Looks nice!

Anyone familiar with his bikes?
