1. End plugs are there to prevent 'core samples' being taken from someone when in a crash. They are required in all mass start US Cycling and UCI events. And Even Kierin.

2. Gaffers tape is superior to electrical tape. It doesn't budge. It's even better than duct tape.

Some of us young'uns from '69 on do it that way as well. I have enjoyed

listening to every reason not to, but those 'enlightened' ones don't realize how it pleases me to be a contrarian. They are obviously gripping the bars far to hard for the primary expressed consequence. I know that the tape on my on topic Bianchi Pista has just over 3500 miles

on it and i can't justify a grunge change. I also toss that little strippy bit that is to encircle the brake clamp as a good figure 8 under the hood will cover it admirably.

I hate tape on the top of the bars.

plugs are a perfect solution to swallowing up the end of the tape. Outside of that, i have not figured out how one justifies their weight.

You can test how good znc even you are by comparing the lengths of the tucks on each side of the bars.

barcons are a drag cause they don't leave enough room for the tuck.

there are so few people that do it this method here, it lends an individuality to my builds. If it makes others laugh, consider yourself

doing a public service.
