Point of discussion for the list:

To me "Dear Mr. Rednor" sounds supercilious when used on an informal list like Classic Rendezvous. Just wondering if I'm the only one on the list that feels this way? And the use of titles like "Editor" or "MD" after one's name might be the subject of a follow up discussion?
