I'm a bike snob too. For me it's lugs or welds that look like welds.
I'm not crazy about really ornate lugs. But I love lugs that are
filed to something like 1/32" on the points. So thin that you could
loose them under powder coating. And love plain functional lugs like
Brent Steelman does.
