Nelson and any other Hi-E-nophiles,

The pair of tubular wheels you are describing sound like the time trial wheels. Buyers should be aware that while unbelievably light, they are also unbelievably fragile. I have a pair hanging in the garage that I bought in the mid 70s from a guy who stressed this to me. Of course, I thought, "I don't weigh that much, and I never break spokes," so I rode them in a century and pulled a couple of nipples through the rear rim. Also, the tt front hub is very small in diameter and has tiny bearings. The rims, for those unfamiliar with them, are not extruded, but rolled from sheet stock and then held together with the eyelets.

I'm not trying to discourage any buyers--just be careful how you use them and they'll be fine.

If anyone wants to amass a critical mass of low mass Hi-E-ware, I too will sell my pair. I'll take $35 (remember--ruined rear rim). I also have several regular duty Hi-E hubs--a pair of used low flange 28H and a single NOS high flange 28H. No skewers. I have no idea here-- how about $75 for all three?
