That's very odd, someone else offlist mentioned the Neo Primato, and sure enough, it is still listed on the Derosa website. Specifically stated as steel and from the photos, seems to be lugged as well. I'd think maybe that is what the forks are for. Strange they would not mention the Neo Primato, especially when you discussed older models you were trying to restore.

Does anyone know of a currently produced Ti or carbon frame that uses a steel fork? The only Ti bike I've ever owned is a Teledyne, and the only carbon bikes are a Graftek and an old Specialized Allez, so I'm no expert. But I thought virtually all carbon frames and most Ti frames today used carbon forks. So if those aren't Neo Primato forks Ugo is working on, it's a bit of a mystery what they are for. And if they are for the Neo Primato, it is strange they would not mention the model.

      Dear Mr. Moos:
We were told no steel models were in current production. Some titanium models were present-all mountain type bikes. I suspect that the forks are for Ti road bikes, but, I'm not sure.
The De Rosas had people look around the plant for any parts that they might have had for my bike (also OT) but sadly, nothing was left. But they were able to connect me with people who did have what I wanted.
I'm in communication with Christiano about an OT bike I'm thinking about buying, so perhaps I can find out about the forks, too.
