Subject: [CR]Cleat Installation @ Cirque

I will once again bring my stuff for installing old-style cleats on old-style shoes to Cirque. BYOC (bring your own cleats). If you need cleats, you might want to call Larry Black at Mt. Airy Bikes (410-795-2929) and ask him to bring some, if your LBS or cycles d'Oro don't have them. I prefer installing cleats on shoes that have been worn with the pedals to be used; just makes it a bit easier to line things up if you have impressed the pedal imprint on the shoe's sole. Not many miles required, and I set the cleat just a bit forward of the mark, to get clearance between shoe and toe clip.

No charge for the installation, but Pergolizzi will smile favorably upon you if a bit of moola wanders over to Operation Smile. That's between you and him.

thanks
