Not real lightweight, but vintage.

I was just given a Raleigh Super Grand Prix. The Suntour bar ends alone make it a cool score.
>From the serial number decoder on the classic Raleigh site, it is a Worksop frame from 1979. Normandy hubs are dated 1978.

Some specs are on the last page of this catalog with the Beryl Burtonish looking woman on the cover. http://sheldonbrown.com/retroraleighs/catalogs/Raleigh-Catalog-1978.pdf

Taking the bike apart last night, I noticed that the wheels are 700c.

I was under the impression that was not a common OEM thing to do until Specialized started it with the Expedition? From the catlog, it looks like Raleigh did it with the Super Course and Competition GS too.
