So, I've got this 73 chrome Paramount P15-9 now. It's currently lacking decals, which I will one day remedy by ordering set from Waterford, and hopefully finding someone who knows how to do it right to put them on. I'm not sure I trust myself with that one. Anyway, I'm trying to figure out a couple of things for finishing the set up of the bike. One is, do I leave the "correct" original safety levers, or ditch them and get some gum hoods for the Weinmann levers? I'm not really a fan of those levers, but they are the original equipment for the bike. Hmmm. Second, what would be the correct choice for bar tape? Basic black Tressostar? Or should I go with red, since it seems the Paramount decals for the chrome bikes were red? And what about the saddle? On there now is a Avocet Touring III, but a Brooks Pro was original. On the other hand, I'm a fan of the shape of the B.17, and I do like bag loops.

Thoughts? Opinions?
