Sorry about sign off

PS I reckon john P's bike is 531 despite the 753 transfer. 27.2 seat post gives it away, and to the best of my knowledge 753 & 531 MAIN frames tubes were never mixed, I stress MAIN frame tubes.

>>Just curious: What was the thinking behind doing the lowly entry level "Record" in Team colors?<<

To cash in on the teams success with the youngsters and sports market. The colours differ in the head tube, yellow for a gas pipe model which the early team frames also had. Later the Team frames had a black head tube. The decal lettering is also different on the "sports" models.
