Greetings -- new to list and am taking the webmaster's suggestion of offering a short biopic.

Beth Hamon Portland, Oregon USA Bike shop mechanic and inventory buyer for worker-owned cooperative. I am blessed to have a job which allows me to commute by bike every day, and a spouse who encourages my daily riding as well.

Current stable includes: --1999 Riv LongLow custom --1986 Peugeot Urban Express ATB (set up as city bike) -- Riv All-Rounder (recent acquisition, a gift; late 90's/early 00's, frameset only right now but I plan to build it up as my busy season winds down)

Bikes I would love to have if money and space were no object: -- early 80's Centurion Pro-Tour, 54-55 cm; --1976 Centurion Super Le Mans, 55-56 cm (I had this bike once, crashed it and am looking for its replacement, not the most fantastic high-zoot bike in the world but has trememndous sentimental meaning to me. I keep checking yard sales and the like and am confident that one day I'll find one); --1960's-70's Raleigh mens' three-speed, 21 or 23 inch frame; --a garage (current residence has none).

I am a huge fan of 1970's/early 80's Japanese road bikes. I think that covers it for now. I look forward to being educated. Cheers --Beth Hamon
