Harvey, you brought back a memory!
On one of the rides that left from the store I managed, I had been helping one of our prize customers adjust something. (Wealthy lawyer and also all around great guy. He pretty much paid the rent many months).
He rode off to catch the group that had already left, I threw on my shoes, leaped on my bike and was heading downhill, putting my gloves on. Concentrated too much on the gloves and did not notice that my customer had stopped in the middle of the road to do the same thing...no serious damage save for ego. He even still bought several more bikes from us!
