Subject: [CR]The Passing of Harry Carrington.

Dear All, I learned the sad news this evening that Harry Carrington has passed away. He died on the 29th of June at his Residential home in Peterborough, England. He was 96.
Harry was employed by A.S.Gillott in 1929 and eventually owned the business on Arthur's passing away in 1957. Harry had instigated Framebuilding at Gillotts in May 1945. He was, I believe, solely responsible for maintaining the quality and reputation of one of Britains finest Framebuilding ''Salons''. He was also deeply involved with the Catford Cycling Club. Obituaries will appear in the press.
The funeral will be on Friday. Mark Stevens, Evanton Scotland.
