For those of you who favour Condor's, here is a link to some pics of my recently completed Condor Superbe. I built this up specifically for light touring and day trips of about 100k.

http://community.webshots.com/user/tvogel29 There are 8 photos in the album. Make sure to click the "Full Size" link to see each in full detail (2 meg).

The frame is a 1975 Condor Superbe. I had Tom Kellog from Sprectrum cycles re-paint it. The rest of the parts are a mix of old and new: Simplex SLJ derailleurs front and rear. TA Zephyr light double crankset. TA silver road pedals. Shimano Dura-Ace HF hubs. Velocity Synergy rims. Panaracer Pasela tires. Simplex retro-friction shifters. Suntour Superbe long reach brakes. Campagnolo record brake levers. Chris King headset. Phil Wood bottom bracket. Brooks Team Pro titanium saddle with Brooks small saddle bag for tools. Nitto Technomic Deluxe stem and Nitto Noodle bars. Nitto front handlebar rack. Nitto type R bottle cages. Berthoud GB192 front bag and Special small rear panniers. Velo Orange Constructeur rear rack.

I have taken the bike on a couple of 100k day trips this summer and it all works perfectly. The combination of the rear rack (Velo Orange) and Berthoud small panniers are just right for bringing along enough supplies for a day trip.
