Subject: [CR]FS. Jack Taylor Rann trailer bike.

I'm reluctantly selling this little jewel (much to the disapproval of our youngest). I could use some extra cash for L' Eroica. Very few Jack Taylor Rann trailer bikes made it to the USA. I comissioned Norman Taylor to have one built (along with a made-to-measure Tourist). Norman told me that this is the first and only Rann ever built with a derailleur hangar and braze-on for a downtube shifter. Please note that the Taylor Brothers were one of the very first to pioneer the trailer bike. The Rann is in excellent condition with only acouple very minor nicks. The eclectic component selection: -TA 150mm crank with single chainring. -Jack Taylor stem. -Campagnolo NR shifter. -Campagnolo 980 rear derailleur. -Campagnolo Nuovo Gran Sport LF hub. -Campagnolo quick release for seatpost. -Suntour 5 speed freewheel. -Miche alloy headset -Lyotard Marcel Berthet pedalss with small Christophe toe clips. -Regina oro chain. -Wienmann 24"alloy rim. -Hutchinson 24" Gumwall tire. -Rare honey Ideale childs saddle. -Junior TA waterbottle cage. -Rack to attach to lead bike with matching serial number.

During transit, the Rann was badly scratched and my Tourist suffered substantial frame damage. I had Brian Baylis repaint and box line both cycles using orignal Jack Taylor decals that Norman provided. The refinish was done to a very high standard.
I'm asking $700.00 plus shipping and careful boxing. If it doesnt sell here, its off to ebay or back into the Martinez bicycle archive.
Please email me with any questions if you're interested in buying it. As bad luck would have it, my digital camera has malfunctioned, so no pics for now. I'll try to have that issue resolved by Sunday.
