[CR]Help ID this mid 70's water bottle?

I've seen a few pics of this water bottle but have no idea exactly what it says. Here's a pic of Merckx in the 1975 Tour, with two of these bottles (one actually looks like it has a "cozy" over it):

Apparently it wasn't strictly a "team" bottle, as here (again from the 75 Tour) you can see both Merckx and Thevenet using the same bottle:

I've been wondering about this bottle for a long time. If anyone can tell me the story behind this bottle I would really appreciate it.
