You do need a few things, but nothing you don't usually have in your shop. However, it's very easy to bend the labyrinth seals. Also, you can take them apart only from one side - don't even try to pry something out from the other side - you'll destroy the seals.

I wonder why they need overhauling? Usually, they go for many decades before they need new grease - unless somebody has messed with them.
