Sure looks like a Tipo track hub. But I looked in my "catalogue.n.17" from 1974 and it doesn't list any Hi-Lo hubs at all. I had a Hi-Lo Campy rear hub on a road bike, a Raysport as I recall. It was a Record hub with the oil hole and cover clip, so I know they existed.
Anyway, I'd be suprised if this wasn't a factory item.
BUT........$1,000 WOW ! ! ! ! ! I often see something on eBay that makes me wish I had thown or given the same item away 20 years ago.
