Group-

Has anyone used or know of a descent chromer that can do a rear rack, but will not break the bank. Also, what should I expect to pay (roughly)?

I recently picked up a pretty unique Constrictor style rear French rack (with built in mini panniers), It had factory white paint that was beyond saving (not even for that patina¹d look), so I stripped it down to bare steel. Looks like it is hollow steel tubing with brass flux. Anyhow, it¹s in great shape and I would love to get it chromed. LBS opinion is that it will cost a ton (which I tend to believe living in the Bay Area and how toxic the chroming process can be).

Thank again all.
