Richard, the '74 Super Course tubing would be straight gauge 531, and as far as seatpost, I'd guess 26.4mm. However, I've found a fair amount of variation in Raleigh models, even those produced the same year. Awhile back I had four 1971 Super Course framesets, and they covered three different seat post sizes: 26.0, 26.2, 26.4. Time for calipers!
