Hi Dale, Thanks for the update. Charles may still be able to rent a tandem in downtown Eugene. Eugene was the venue for the annual "Burley Tandems Stage Race (6 stages)" held for many years and well attended. As a result, there are many tandems in town. Sorry to hear of Burley's hard times. As I have been told by some of their employees, they were a "cooperative" company and set up such that all the employees received the same pay from the CEO to the janitor! In 1991 the pay was $7.50/hour.

Good luck Charles,

Paul
