CR one and all In my opinion bicycles are first meant to be ridden and not placed in some ratified air category . That some are more desirable than others to me is very secondary. Fine art is produced to be appreciated and judged for art sake only can it be in that ratified air category but not bicycles. I collect bicycles because I think they are neat. And you can ride them. The fact that to some they are worth paying a lot money for collecting just for their desirability is fine but their first use is too ride. My knowledge of bicycles comes from 1. owning and working on them 2. Reading a lot on bicycles 3. talking to other who ride bicycles and 4 Talking to those in the profession of selling, building bicycles. Am I able to take all this knowledge and make a very knowledgably base of bicycles? No, I just take what I learn and use it. Sometimes correctly and sometimes mistakenly used. So if you disagree with my comments on bicycles and wish to reply in a civil manner then I will reply. But other non civil comments please just ignore my comments and move to what ever. Live is too short to deal with negative comments regarding bicycles. They are meant to be used first and foremost. Charles Nighbor BS Architectural Engineering LIT Walnut Creek, CA
