Not a Tourist Model Paramount, but still a pretty cool bike:

http://ebay.com/<blah> +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ For those who are into this sort of thing, a couple of notes &c:

1) Do my eyes and his camera fool me, or is that fork pushed back just a bit?

2) In general, the Paramount HUBS use 1.370" cog threading (and Italian locknut), but I'm told the Superiors used a larger diameter cog thread. If it was the common coaster thread, they are readily available (Sam FitzSimmons has them, I think.

3) but this has what I call a "paperboy" rear drum hub, cabe actuated (cable missing?), so all bets are off on threading.

4) The cranks actually read "A S & C O" for Arnold, Schwinn & Company. They were used on the post war Town & Country crank. this is a non-interchageable design, splined rather than forged.

5) It appears that the pedals have gone the way of all life and goods...

6) Even though that looks like my garage door, it's not. I have no connection with this auction, and will not bid.
