Garth:

The bad news: this is not one of 3Rensho's works of art. Could it be an Athlete or Katana frame? Good news: no worries about messing with one of Konno's works of art. He probably never touched it.

Most of the bikes that I own and admire bring me joy because I think I can see the work of master craftspeople in them. A couple of others have sentimental value to me, and even some beauty, partly because of the effort I put into "completing" someone else's effort. But I don't like those as much. And some of my bikes have very little craftwork in them, they just are what they are and sometimes neat examples of what they are.

In the end, it's just a (relatively) inexpensive bike frame that is yours to bring you joy by whatever means suits you best.

PS let us not forget the story of Konno's beginnings - that he took apart Cinelli frames to figure out how they were made. What if he were a list member today, starting on his journey to stardom, and asked our collective opinion about his plans?
