Sadly I haven't got a clue how to send photos but if you go to my blog, greenjersey.wordpress.com and look in the category Bill Philbrook you will see a Prugnat long point seat lug reduced to almost nothing by Bill Philbrook in 1978. It seems that the seat stays are finished off by brazing a plate on to the top of the tube. This looks pretty neat to me, is that the usual way to do a semi-wrap round seat cluster?
