Scott, A quick answer is ...NO! Your bike is a 1980-1981 due to the stamped/engraved 'Colnago' in the seat-stay caps. It is something of a 'tweener' as the chainstays aren't stamped Colnago as well. The parts mix is all over the place and isn't a reliable indicator. I have had and seen several 1979 models none of which had the seaststay caps engraved w/ Colnago. I have an otherwise identical frame (Sarroni painted) Super from 1981.
