I tried honey brown on a bike I ride a lot. It was easy to wrap, looked pretty, and felt good to my hands. I did not use any leather conditioner or protective compound. Between lots of sun exposure and salt from sweat, it faded pretty badly within 5 months and looks unattractive. I recommend Toshi leather bar wrap. It looks and feels better.

I've used the black leather on my OT but KoF Tommasini. Wrapped from the center out and finished with black Velox plugs. Went on easily and has stayed put (so far). I'm not sure how to quantify stretching. It was easy to wrap tightly. It looks nice, but not quite as cool as the Velo-Orange stitched-on elkhide (and isn't as soft), but it's a heck of a lot easier (and quicker) to put on.
