Scott Demel was asking how short "short" Campy dropouts are. This is a good picture of "long" Campy dropouts:

Note the "Brev. Campagnolo" stamping goes only on the upper face in a straight line. On Scott's page, the first picture shows the "COLNAGO" stamped around the curved end of the dropout:

This is a "short" dropout. I have never actually measured the different in length but it's around 5-6mm (guessing).

P.S. Yes, I talked about doing the Colnago timeline page and have completely flaked out. Pictures are certainly helpful but the new timeline posted these last couple days is an improvement. Thanks to all the contributed.
