Andrew, First try soaking with penatrating oil for a few hours. If no luck try this method: 1. Slice off protruding seatpost, leaving an inch or so for grabing hold of with pliers or vice gripes 2. using a jab saw, make three or four seperate cuts through the seat post, being carefull not to damage the seat tube 3. Using a chisle or old large flat blade screw driver, pry/seperate the se ctions-use some vice grips to remove the seperated piece 4. the remaining pieces should be easy to remove 5. Flex hone the inside to clean it up Allow lots of time and patience for this procedure. I recently removed a mo st stuborn post from a Miyata for Dan Kehew and I think it took between 2 a nd 3 hours of sawing to get that sucker out.
