Subject: [CR]Special Chater Lea chainring bolts??

I'm kicking myself.

I've just walked my 1954 Hetchins Brilliant (http://www.wooljersey.com/gallery/simonpj/hetchins/) home after two of the three bolts holding the Chater Lea chainring on, which had obviously worked themselves loose, jumped ship.

Why hadn't I thought to check them? It's definitely a case of 'you don't know what you've got 'til it's gone', as I can see from the one remaining bolt that they are special bolts that won't be easy to replace.

They thread into the holes in the crank arms and are exactly the right length to be flush with the front surface of the crank arms. And where the end of the threaded bit of the bolt shows through the hole in front surface of the crank arms it is chromed to match the surface of the crank arms. Very neat.

Does anybody have suggestions as to who might be able to supply me with some replacement bolts?

Many thanks,
