List,

Okay, I'll believe that Ernesto started using the club logo after the 1970 La Primavera win (unless I hear otherwise).

I've read that he started working on an investment cast fork crown in the late sixties in one interview and that he started using the investment cast fork crown in 1970 in another interview. Before the investment cast fork crown (crown is flat on front and back) he was using a sand cast fork crown crown is curvy on front and back).

I've seen Colnago Supers with the "playing card" decals and clubs in all three lugs (made after Spring 1970 then?) with either the earlier sand cast fork crown or the later investment cast fork crown (neither with a club in the top but both with the two holes in the sides of the crown).

Now the question: What dates would you assign to the different fork crowns then?

Please, all replies off list so we can discuss...
