some odds & ends for sale.
1. NOS/NIB Campagnolo Nuovo Record Short Reach Brakeset. Missing the gum rubber brake lever hoods. Mint condition. Domed quick release levers. Nutted attachment. "PATENT" on brake center bolts. Includes 1.8 mm brake cables (with the little <c> on the end) and grey housings. Also includes the original instruction sheet. 2. Clement Criterium Seta tubular tire (unused; original inner tube and base tape were replaced). From the early 1970s with the classic yellow label. This tire has some issues. Due to its age, the inner tube did not hold air. So, I had it retubed at Tire Alert. Now, this tire has a new (not original) butyl inner tube as well as new base tape. The base tape looks functional, but is not a pretty sight. In addition, some threads are missing from part of the casing. This tire will hold air at 110 psi, and there is no bulging from the part of the tire where the threads are missing from the casing. If you are interested, I suggest that you look at the photos I have posted. In any event, I'm offering this Classic at the cost of a 'cheap' modern tubular. 3. NOS Campagnolo Nuovo Tipo Front Hub (36 holes). Early-type flat handle on the quick release. Some shopwear. I checked one of the locknuts, and it is dated 1977. Very good (but not excellent) condition. Spins smoothly. Would be nice for a vintage front wheel. [$28.00 shipped by USPS Priority Mail in the USA.]
4. NOS Campagnolo Nuovo Record Quick Release skewers. With curved handles. I believe that the rear skewer is for a 5-speed rear hub. The length of the thin part of the rear skewer is about 152 mm. Excellent condition. [$38.00 shipped by USPS Priority Mail in the USA.]
5. NOS "Miko Cycles Mercier Vivagel" Long Sleeve jersey. Size 4. Acrylic. Made by Castelli. Comes with bag. Excellent condition. Three pockets in the back. 18.5 inches armpit to armpit (without stretching). 32 inches from top of collar to the bottom of the jersey. In my opinion, it is a rather long jersey (too long for me) for its girth. It might be good for some vintage riding as the weather gets cooler. [$24.00 shipped by USPS Priority Mail in the USA.]
