Just checked out the Masi auction, above 2500 USD (RH price), we have only 3 bidders left.
But there is no doubt there are more collectors of Italian stuff than French, at least in the US. A Colnago pantographed Campagnolo crankset will have far more followers/bidders than say a Jos dynamo. But the end bids are comparable...
