I don't understand if these off-topic,but fun,devices actually gain any mechanical or speed advantage over pedaling a lighter bike not burdened by the weight of the added drive train and propellar plus the wind resistance and inertia of the propellar to be overcome. Kinda like using fossil fuel to grow,harvest, ferment and transport corn to come up with less net energy than the initial energy(fossil fuels)used. Art Link,bemused in San Antonio,TX,USA
