Hi Kids,

There is a better way. MKS "Mini" or half toe clips. They're strapless. (Think "evening gown.") Or not. They fit, and use the same mounting bolts, on any conventional pedal that regular toe clips fit. You can get them from Ben's Cycle for about eleven bucks a pair. If you're going to the track or show your your bike, you can swap your regular clips and straps in a couple of minutes. I use them on all eight of the bikes I ride on the street, including my 1950 Locomotief TdF. I've been trapped by the mystery strap tightener for the last time.
