The two that I've obtained and used are:

Schwalbe and Raleigh-branded ones, all bought in the UK either in person o r via websites. Sheldon Brown even stocked the Schwalbe ones but I think h e's sold out and I am not even sure if they make them anymore. These are sup erb tyres by the way. The Raleigh branded ones were certainly available in t he UK last year and I saw them at a few bike shops (including one in Weymouth ) and I think they are still listed in the Raleigh UK website. To be hones t, I might like these better than the Schwalbe for ride and look. Both are all black, traditional tread. And "racy"... under no circumstances use the Schwinn tyres in this size (I think it's an EA3 or something) which are invariably junk and are way too "balloon" like for a club bike. My '49 Raleigh Clubman had these when I bought her (for $69 on eBay!) and she rod e like a truck.

My advice: if you have or think you want 26" wheeled British club bikes, find a source for these tyres NOW and buy a dozen of them. NOW. It's getting harder and harder to find them. And you aren't going to find the m on this side of the Atlantic. Maybe one of our British listers have a re ady source and can help.
