Are you sure about the Vitus? The CR site has photos of two different Guerciotti-badged ALAN ROAD bikes, and I have seen others. I've never seen a Guerciotti-badged Vitus, although Motobecane, Peugeot and maybe other French manufacturers sold Vitus frames under their names.

At least we know that Guerciotti was not opposed to rebadging other bikes. We all know the older aluminum road and cyclocross Guerciottis were really Vitus and Alans, respectively.
