I think it was Jay Sexton who raised a query about this English frame built by an Italian living in the UK.
It was fashionable for a number of years over here to dream up Continental sounding names....hence Ellis Briggs had their "FAVORI"..and Bo rder Cycles in Carlisle, adjacent to the England-Scottish border had "FRONT IERA"..Thompson of Huddersfield used to put "COVACI" - an abbreviatio n for COlne VAlley Cycles , where he was based, on
