Hi CR Listmembers: I just got a few of these after a very long time. Perhaps you still need a set.

Honjo Fenders, four styles to choose from. 700c Narrow or Wide, Hammered or Smooth. $90.00 Hammered, $85.00 Smooth. Hardware and struts included. The hardware kit is the most basic “universal” set Honjo makes. While they last. These fenders always take a while to install.

Shipping is extra. Let me know you can pay via Paypal or Credit Card. I will ship them via UPS in the US only. Thank You,

I have just about finished making minor changes to the show-condition '75 Moto GR I just acquired and I have pictures detailing what I have done. The changes mostly have to do with the brakes as the hoods of the Weinmanns were showing age and I had a set of Mafac Racers that I had sexed-up (filed off all casting marks, smoothed curves and polished the heck out of) sitting around. The seat post (2 bolt SR ) showed marks from height adjustments and I replaced that with a mirror finished single bolt 25 plus shim. I also cleaned up the spokes and polished the rims and hubs. The rest is the result of loving care by the original owner (Van Delfino). What does not show, but is there under two layers of other handlebar tape, is the pristine condition original bar wrap. So, where do we post pictures of our rides?

Just had this sent to me, thought the list ought to see it too.

Two engineering students crossing the campus when one said, "Where did you get such a great bike?" The second engineer replied, "Well, I was walking along yesterday minding my own business, when a beautiful woman rode up on this bike, she threw the bike to the ground, took off all her clothes and said, "Take what you want." The first engineer nodded approvingly, "Good choice; the clothes probably wouldn't have fit."

The website http://www.memoire-du-cyclisme.net/ go to the Equipes/Maillots page has pictures of the jerseys of most pro teams including the various Raleigh teams in the 1970s – it can be a great help in dating for a photo or jersey.

I just scored a 80's Carrera/Vagabond rain jacket off ebay, I have the short and long sleeve version, but never seen these. It has a draw string hood and the 3 pockets. Goes perfect with my '87 Battaglin/Carrerra team bike.

Ain't ebay great!

What did people use for tubulars at L'Eroica? I would think a something like the Challenge Grifo tubular would be good, but I've had bad experience with Challenge tubulars. Anybody know of something similar?
