Those shifters I remember seeing as a kid and thinking they were cheesy. They now have a campy (small C) appeal, but they cannot work worth a damn considering how noodly the later and beefier black delrin/Al Prestige shifters were. I never *got* delrin as a bike component material. The same piece cast in dural would inevitably work galaxies better.
Overall though that PX is amazing and the price hardly surprises me given the condition.
