Except it appears to have Campy dropouts, so if it is a French bike, it is one of the somewhat atypical models, probably equipped with full or partial Campy. The full Campy models often had Italian style long point lugs and no DO eyelets, though. One French model with fancy Nervex lugs and Campy DO eyelets was Motobecane Grand Record, so I guess that is one possibility.

I've been looking at this one as well. The seller does not respond to questions. I wanted to confirm the Italian thread BB and 27.2 post, as it looks like a French bike to me? But have not heard back after writing on day one of the auction.
