My 1972 Italian Twin-Plate Masi has a TA steel cage with the CHAINRING logo, so this may help in dating the logo style???

I actually prefer the alloy cage model, and COBRA/OMAS lookalikes --- have them on several bikes, and never experienced breakage, and they hold the bottle quite securely, plus no rust to contend with --- just my personal experience.
