This once lovely bike is the poster child for using paint remover or plastic bead blasting rather than sand blasting to remove old paint. The bike can no longer be restored to original by chrome plating the lugs, but a much paler approximation can be achieved with paint( "all the world is a stage"). I doubt it will achieve reserve, knowing its earlier Ebay sales price, and the great array of period components offered with it. Yet,the Venus di Milo is still lovely without her arms.
