I agree totally. BTW, Big Spring, TX is 40 miles from Midland, TX, home of ( in addition to George W Bush) Jim Hall, the owner of Chaparral Cars. There is a museum of Chaparrel Cars at Midland which I have not yet visited , but your post motovates me to do so.

P.S. One of my most prized possessions is a letter Colin Chapman personally sent to me in 1968 (when I was about 13) thanking me for the letter of sympathy I sent him upon the death of Jim Clark. It is framed with a photo of Clark on my office wall.
